The noble manor Zimmerlehen, once an episcopal fief and owned by the Kompatscher family for over 100 years, is an architectural jewel and has been carefully and thoughtfully renovated in recent years. It is quietly situated above Fiè allo Sciliar on the edge of the Schlern-Rosengarten / Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park.

Ferdinand von Kuepach
Ferdinand von Kuepach was Landeshauptmann (first administrator) of Tyrol and owned Zimmerlehen. He renovated the manor fundamentally and was responsible for many paintings and frescoes.
Eva von Puecher
Eva von Puecher was the first spouse of Ferdinand von Kuepach. Together they had 14 children.
Katharina von Trapp
Katharina von Trapp wedded Ferdinand von Kuepach in the private chapel of Zimmerlehen in 1594.
Hauptmann Fenberger
Captain Fenberger was the keeper and judge of Völs and the first noble owner of Zimmerlehen. He gave the farm its present structure.
Tempel
The Tempel is named after Petru Schiopul also known as “Peter the Lame”. Last of the house Musat he ruled over the principality Moldavia (Romania) from 1574 to 1577.
Seiser Alm Balance

When the days get longer in spring and nature awakens, the desire for outdoor exercise increases. With special „Balance“ experiences you can recharge your batteries in and with nature.
The events will be held every week in the villages of Dolomites region Seiser Alm, and are suitable for both adults and teenagers.

Directions
Your way to us
From the north:Leave the Brenner motorway in Klausen and continue south on the state road to Waidbruck. In Waidbruck, cross the bridge and follow the signs to Völs and Kastelruth. At the roundaboutin Völs, drive into the green zone towards Obervöls. After approx. 700 metres turn left into Kühbachweg and after another 700 metres you will reach our farm.
From the south: Leave the Brenner motorway at Bolzano Nord and continue north on the main road to Blumau. In Blumau, take the left Tunnel and continue to Völs. At the roundabout in Völs, take the green zone towards Obervöls. After approx. 700 metres turn left into Kühbachweg and after another 700 metres you will reach our farm.
By train: all international and regional trains stop in Bolzano/Bozen. From there you can take the bus to Fiè every half hour.
Would you like a car-free holiday?
With our pick-up service you are still mobile with us! The nearest bus stop is approx. 700 metres from the farm, the train station in Bolzano is 17 km away, Bolzano airport is 20 km away and Innsbruck airport is 120 km away. We will be happy to pick you up from there with our own taxi on request. Are you planning a longer hike or would you like to reach a specific starting point? With the new guest card you are mobile and discover the holiday region Alpe di Siusi and South Tyrol by bus and train.
