Noble Manor
At the foot of the Schlern
The Manor
The Zimmerlehen noble manor in Obervöls was first mentioned in 1336 as an episcopal fief and initially belonged to the Völklein family.
In 1580, Ferdinand von Küepach acquired the estate and had the chapel furnished.
In the centuries that followed, the estate changed hands several times, passing from noble to peasant hands until it came into the possession of the Kompatscher family in 1906.
You can experience history up close in our
apartments.
The Kompatscher Family
The noble residence has been owned by the Kompatscher family for over 100 years.
Since then, ongoing renovation work has been carried out on the listed building ensemble.
The family currently runs accommodation with vacation apartments, a farm tavern and a farm with livestock, fruit trees and a vegetable garden from which they obtain their
own produce.
Isidor, Inge and Simon warmly welcome you to the manor and would like to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Inner Courtyard
The historic ensemble of buildings, consisting of the manor house, farm building, tower, chapel and Baumannhaus, is connected by the inner courtyard.
In the inner courtyard and around the manor house there are many secluded and sunny spots to linger, as well as a sunbathing lawn, barbecue facilities and a playground to entertain the children.
